Girls' Programs: Winter 2018 Schedule

Here is a list of our upcoming Programs at the W for Winter 2019! All programs are completely free, and registration forms can be filled out here.

Upcoming Events Preview Programs

Just 4 Me (Mondays)

Just 4 Me is a free 8-week program for participants between the ages of 10 - 12 (Grade 5 & 6). We will play fun games and activities and chat about things like your changing body, friendships and relationships! This program is led by one of SHORE Centre's experienced sexual health educators & volunteer facilitators who are both female-identified. 

5:30 - 7:00 | ages 10 - 12 | Jan 14 - Mar 18

TechGyrls (Tuesdays)

Girls are the lead designers of this program, and will decide what kind of activities and experiments they do that are related to science, technology, engineering & math

5:30 - 7:00 | ages 9 - 13 | Jan 15 - Apr 16

Safe Sisters (Thursdays)

This program is a prevention program which takes a unique, holistic approach to violence prevention. The program uses interative activities (with an emphasis on arts based activites such as theatre/drama, visual art and mixed media projects) to increase girls' skills and confidence, and strengthen their relationship to their communities.
