Thank you for your interest in the YWCA Cambridge Reskilling Program. We are currently accepting applications from women and non-binary people who are interested in advancing their career in the advanced manufacturing and specialized technology fields through certification training.

Please note the intake process involves the following steps:

  1. Completion of application form (below)
  2. Brief information discussion with the Reskilling Program Coordinator virtually or by phone
  3. Acknowledgement/completion of confidentiality requirements, consent, and program expectation forms
  4. Offer of acceptance
  5. Participant registration with learning partner

We would like to know a little more about you and your goals for joining the Reskilling Program. Please provide as much detail in answering these questions, as it can help us better understand how we can help you achieve these goals.

Section 4: About the program expectations

The Reskilling Program streams are designed for a part-time commitment, requiring approximately 10-14 hours per week of time for learning activities, including online synchronous/asynchronous activities, online postings and discussion groups, assignments and other coursework. In addition to the training partner activities, YWCA Cambridge provides individual and group support intended to enrich your learning experience and to help find additional personal supports if needed.


All programs are delivered online. You will need to have access to a computer system that is capable of running a remote desktop session with webcam, USB plug-in or wireless Bluetooth, and a good internet connection (10+ Mbps download 1.5+ Mbps upload). (For videos and online tutorials, preferably with a broadband wired or wireless 3G or 4G/LTE internet connection).
