POSITION: Special Projects Coordinator

Status: Contract (beginning July 2 2024)

Hours: 35hrs/wk, 8 weeks at $16.55/hr

Description

The Special Projects Coordinator will work under the direction of the Directors of Communications and Advocacy and Philanthropy to gather, research and prepare communications materials for external audiences, assist with gathering and reporting on analytics from various communications platforms such as social media and email marketing software. They will also support marketing/promotions for fundraising events, donor engagement, and awareness building on issues that impact women, girls and gender-diverse individuals.

Job Duties

Job Requirements

  • Three years of related experience in marketing
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Excellent understanding and familiarity with brand building and brand management
  • General understanding of social media marketing
  • Ability to work individually as well as part of a team
  • Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands
  • High level of integrity and work ethic
  • Experience in creating and executing successful traditional and digital marketing campaigns an asset
