Where I Stand

Where I Stand is a 12 week program for cis and trans girls, non-binary and Two-Spirit youth ages 8-14. In this program we look at how the world impacts us by critically assessing how the impact of gender roles, socialization, and other factors have on our overall well-being and fuel gender inequity and gender-based violence. The goal of Where I Stand is to support youth in developing greater resilience, critical thinking, and an awareness of intersectionality. In past programs, we have made self-care kits, personalized journals, and created mixed media self-portraits.
