HIGH FIVE® Principles of Healthy Child Development Training
This HIGH FIVE® Principles of Healthy Child Development training is designed for anyone working with children aged 4 to 12. Grounded in over two decades of research and hands-on experience in recreation and sport, this course emphasizes the importance of being a Caring Leader and role model. You’ll learn how to create meaningful and safe play experiences that foster friendships, participation, and skill mastery.
Learning Outcomes:
- Understand how children aged 4–12 develop physically, cognitively, and socially.
- Explore your impact as a Caring Leader.
- Build positive relationships in recreation and sport environments.
- Support children in developing friendships and appreciating diversity.
- Keep play central by designing inclusive, supportive programs using HIGH FIVE® principles.
