Walk a Mile in Their Shoes 2025
Walk a Mile, End the Cycle.
Walk A Mile in Their Shoes is YWCA Cambridge’s annual community fundraising walk and a bold, public stand against gender-based violence (GBV). It’s a powerful, visible act of solidarity.
On October 18, we’ll walk a symbolic one-mile route through downtown Cambridge to raise awareness, raise funds, and raise our voices. Every step helps women, girls, and gender-diverse people access safety, shelter, and support.
All proceeds directly fund a 24/7 emergency women’s emergency homeless shelter and free, violence prevention education with youth across Cambridge.
Walk A Mile is a peer-to-peer fundraising event—that means you are the changemaker.
