The Women of Distinction Awards have been celebrated since 1991, recognizing more than 350 women and young trailblazers who have made exceptional contributions to their communities and/or excelled in their work and volunteering.

“It is with deep admiration that I congratulate this year’s extraordinary nominees. Every one of them is a shining example of what it means to lead with courage, compassion and purpose,” said YWCA Cambridge CEO, Kim Decker.

“Women and gender-diverse individuals in our community are driving real change every day — lifting others, breaking barriers, and building a better future for us all. These nominees reflect the very best of who we are, and we are honoured to celebrate them.”

The evening’s programming will include special musical guests, a silent auction, photobooth, and networking opportunities. All proceeds from ticket sales and sponsorship support YWCA Cambridge’s free, community-based programming for women, girls and gender diverse individuals, including Cambridge’s first women’s emergency homeless shelter which YWCA opened at the end of 2024.
